Burlington – Things to do with your Team

The city of Burlington got its start in the 1850’s when the North Carolina Railroad selected the area to be the site of its repair facilities. A few short years later in 1866 the railroad moved its repair facilities to Spencer, North Carolina. Although the departure of the railroad sparked a sudden economic crisis for the city, Burlington bounced back quickly thanks to the several manufacturing plants that began to spring up. You and your team can experience Burlington’s rich historical heritage at attractions like Cedarock Historic Farm and Burlington Historic Depot. If your group prefers more modern entertainment however, you’re in luck. Burlington is also home to plenty of other fun places where you and your team can enjoy activities like mini-golf, bowling, and more.
