Those who enjoy drawing will be delighted to learn that The Money Museum allows visitors to make their very own currency. Sketch, color, and design your own dollars to keep. You won’t be able to spend them anywhere, but you’ll have a cool memento from your visit.

16th Street Mall

Take a stroll through Denver while you shop at 16th Street Mall. This pedestrian mall is spread out across a mile and a quarter. Within that space, your team can browse over 300 stores. Located a short walk away from the Colorado Convention Center, 16th Street Mall is an ideal place to visit multiple times throughout your trip. Coors Field

Take a tour of the Colorado Rockies’ home stadium, Coors Field. Tours are held Monday through Saturday during the baseball regular season and Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday during the off-season.

Advanced purchase of tickets is highly advised since the tours sell out quickly. Each tour lasts about 70 to 80 minutes and shows off the glitz and glam of the legendary Coors Field. See sights of ball park that most people don’t get to witness. If you have a lot of baseball fans on your team, than this tour is a must-do activity.

Denver Firefighters Museum and Police Museum

These two separate museums are both very close to the Colorado Convention Center and each offer a unique perspective of the great firefighters and police officers of Denver.

At the Denver Firefighters Museum, an awesome collection of artifacts awaits for you and your team to examine. See equipment and tools that firefighters of the past used to fight fires in the city. Some of the older technology might surprise you with how rudimentary it was. Old uniforms are on display in the museum as well. Historic photographs can also be found in an exhibit and complete the story of Denver’s past firefighters. Groups of 10 or more will receive a group rate. Reservations are required.

Similar to the Firefighters Museum, the Denver Police Museum concentrates on bringing the public closer to the city’s police force and providing an extensive look their history. Like the firefighter museum, the police museum has collected a large number of old pictures outlining the courageous work of Denver police officers. A display of badges throughout the Denver police force has been collected, as well as interactive exhibits that visitors will enjoy. Individual stories of police officers are also highlighted. Downtown Aquarium

Get acquainted with some aquatic creatures near the Colorado Convention Center at Downtown Aquarium. There you will find animals from all over the world, swimming in ginormous tanks.

Downtown Aquarium divides its exhibits up by environments. There are nine different exhibits full of marine animals for you and your team to explore. As you walk through the aquarium, you will find various shark species, sea turtles, eels, octopus, countless species of fish, and many more fascinating animals. You’ll even come across a Sumatran tiger! You might even spot a mermaid if you’re lucky.

Downtown Aquarium puts on a spectacle known as the “Mystic Mermaid Show” Thursday through Sunday. Watch as beautiful mermaids swim with the aquarium’s animals and display amazing choreography. This is one demonstration you won’t soon forget.
