Baseball Heaven is a 30-acre sports complex designed for children between the ages of nine and eighteen. Located in Yaphank, Long Island, Baseball Heaven offers a variety of activities, both indoors and out.
Steel Sports Academy is a 12,000-square-foot indoor facility. It offers guests a chance to experience private lessons for baseball and softball. In addition, this sports academy offers team training programs, open workout nights, and camps for baseball and soccer.
Outside, there are more chances for your team to have fun! Baseball Heaven features four full-sized fields and three little league fields. The amenities on these fields include dugouts, connecting bullpens, electronic score boards, and a PA system. In addition, visitors can enjoy ballpark seating, concessions, restaurants, and a picnic area.

Long Island Aquarium
Long Island Aquarium is fun for all ages! This aquarium features indoor and outdoor exhibits. The indoor exhibits include an amazon rainforest, American alligators, and one of the largest living coral reef displays in the Western Hemisphere.
The outdoor exhibits are teeming with aquatic creatures like otters, penguins, and sea lions. Don’t forget to have your pictures taken with the penguins; “a penguin selfie!”
Does your team enjoy sleepovers? Groups of twenty or more are welcome to hold a “Sleep with the Fishes” sleepover! The food and beverages provided include pizza, soda, and breakfast muffins. An age-appropriate craft is provided as part of the fun.
For those not afraid to get a little wet, another activity at the aquarium is an opportunity to snorkel with the sting rays, bamboo sharks, and other tropical fish in the Shark Reef Lagoon.
It is important to note that some of the adventures are not included in general admission so plan ahead. Group tickets are available for your team of 15 or more with one free chaperone for every 10 paid tickets. Escape Game Long Island
Escape Game Long Island is an exciting adventure for your team nearby Baseball Heaven! Four escape rooms challenge the players to figure out clues and solve puzzles to escape each room.
While scheduling each game, participants can choose from four themed adventures! These adventures include Legends of the Hidden Temple, Time Warp Escape Room, Cabin in the Woods, or Alcatraz Prison Escape Room. These games accommodate between two to ten or two to twelve people.
Although they were once designed exclusively for adults, Escape Game Long Island will now customize games for almost any age. Children under the age of seven are not permitted to play the games. Additionally, participants under eighteen must schedule a private game. Smith Point Archery
Smith Point Archery will prove a fun sporting activity for your team! Consisting of two indoor archery ranges and a pro shop, Smith Point Archery has been a Long Island institution for 35 years.
The crossbow indoor range is available for crossbow shooting each Wednesday Night. Crossbow rentals are provided to guests. Another separate indoor range consists of thirty-nine shooting lanes. Archery equipment is available for your convenience. The shooting lanes are open every day. Parties and special events are also offered in two additional rooms.
Smith Point Archery offers youth group lessons for children ages seven and older. In these lessons, certified instructors teach students basic and vital information about archery. When the instructor has explained safety rules, and proper use of the bow, it is time to begin the exciting step of teaching students how to shoot a bow! Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse
Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse is a seasonal attraction close to Baseball Heaven that will have your team racing to the finish! Open from September to the beginning of November, this attraction provides a fun and entertaining time.
The walk-through of the Haunted House is full of twists and turns and lasts a half hour. Actors pop out at you in various locations providing thrills and chills. In addition, the floor and walls move! When you reach the Midway, get ready to experience a coffin ride and have fun shooting zombies.
While it is not recommended that children under the age of twelve visit Gateway’s Haunted House, they do offer a “Not-So-Scary” house for families. This Not-So-Scary house is open on Saturdays and Sundays during the regular season.
Looking for something to do after your scary activities? Come to the food and drink area. Country Fair Entertainment Park provides your team with a multitude of wonderful activities! The park has been hailed as the most exciting amusement park on all of Long Island.
