Hampden Park in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania is the largest park in Hampden Township. It is a 32 acre outdoor sporting extravaganza. Catering to both youth and adult sports teams, there is truly something for everybody at Hampden Park. This expansive park consists of six soccer fields, two softball fields, six lighted tennis courts, one lighted basketball court, one roller hockey court, and a playground. With so many sporting fields, it is no wonder why Hampden Park has been visited by so many different teams.

Hampden Park is also home to a 550,000 gallon pool. Ensuring their guests have a wonderful experience, this pool is equipped with 120 foot water slides! There is also a “zero depth entry tot pool”. Popular with all ages, a concession stand is provided for the public. The concession stand and the pools open in late Spring and close in early Fall.

Carlisle Sports Emporium

Carlisle Sports Emporium is a wonderful experience for your team! Lazer Frenzy is an inside “lazer maze” where participants are flanked on all sides by laser beams. Steampunk Theme Laser Frenzy features eight LED touch sensors. In this game, participants are required to move through, under and over the different laser beams. If that does not sound challenging enough, you are invited to try “Team Spy Mission”. Two players work in tandem to navigate across the laser beam filled room. Once they have completed this journey, players must make a trip back, with all the same obstacles. Players must touch the laser panels at the same time. The exciting beam breaker game is where participants are required to break the laser beams while touching light panels and prompting another bunch of laser beams to appear. These exhilarating games include “Beam Dodger.”

However, if you need to summon some courage before playing these laser activities, start with go-karts. The Go-Kart Outdoor Grand Prix Track offers a quarter of a mile concrete track, complete with a bridge. Under the bridge, four pit lanes are there to give guests the full racing experience. If you or your team are still not in the mood for competitive racing, maybe the “New F22 Grand Prix Go-Karts” will help. These recently crafted go-karts include head lights, break lights, and under-glow lights. To add to the playful nature of the go-karts, they are also available in bright colors! The indoor FasTrack has been widely thought to be the most exhilarating go-kart track of its kind in Central Pennsylvania. Accommodating for the entire family, the indoor rookie go-karts were crafted for younger riders! Carlisle Sports Emporium allows four rookie go-karts on the track at once.

Sky Zone

Sky Zone is an attraction which is sure to entertain you and your team for hours! Once you finish up at Hampden Park, give this high flying activity a try. The Freestyle Jump is an activity featuring huge, expansive trampoline courts. Is jumping on a trampoline a little tame of an activity for you? Increase your activity with Ultimate Dodgeball. This game combines the intense activity of dodgeball, with the bouncy nature of a trampoline.
