Elitch Gardens

Elitch Gardens is part of Colorado’s earliest history. Opened in 1890, it was originally a botanical garden, one of the first zoos west of Chicago, and home to Denver’s first Symphony Orchestra and first motion picture theater. Now it is a modern water and theme park offering thrilling rides, music shows, and water slides.

At the theme park, there are thrill rides, family rides, and kid’s rides. The thrill rides include the Boomerang and the Brain Drain roller coasters. For those who like more of a spin than a drop, try the Hollywood & Vine.
