Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center – Dining

Between the convention center and hotel, Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is constantly busy. The facility excels at a lot of things. One of which is providing its guests with ample dining options. No matter what kind of food you like, you’ll find a few places that will make your mouth water.

Old Hickory Steakhouse

Whenever a fancy meal is in order, Old Hickory Steakhouse is a great place to have it. Out of the seven on-site eateries at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, this one is the fanciest, albeit the priciest. Hardwood floors, racks and racks of good wine, views of the harbor, and of course amazing food all await you. Steak lovers have to make a tough choice between a filet, Wagyu center cut sirloin, New York strip, ribeye cuts, and porterhouse. Not in the mood for steak? No problem. Old Hickory Steakhouse cooks up other decadent dishes like smoked scallops, lamb, true north salmon, and risotto. Don’t skimp on the desserts either. Two highlights from the dessert menu include chocolate caramel ganache terrine and steamed vanilla bean cheesecake.

Pienza Marketplace

Early morning and midday meals are Pienza Marketplace’s specialties. Breakfast comes in two varieties: Harbor Buffet and Harbor Continental. The continental option lets you choose from foods like pastries, croissants, muffins, and bagels, as well as jams and preserves, fresh cut fruit, yogurt, and cereal. The buffet has everything the continental breakfast has with the additions of an omelet station, breakfast meats, silver dollar pancakes, and more. For lunch, Pienza Marketplace has a Super Speedy Lunch that consists of sandwiches, salads, and soup. There’s also a lunch buffet that serves full entrees with pasta, vegetables, and rice.
