Absecon Lighthouse

New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse is located at Pacific and Rhode Island Avenues in Atlantic City. Take an amazing journey into time and above it all as you ascend the 228 steps of one of the oldest lighthouses in the country, the Absecon Lighthouse. You’ll see breathtaking views of the Atlantic City skyline and up top you’ll come face-to-face with the original first-order Fresnel Lens, first lit in 1857. Lucy the Elephant

Lucy the Elephant is located along the beach in Josephine Harron Park in Margate. Built by land speculator James V. Lafferty Jr. in 1881 at a cost over $25,000.00 to attract land buyers to his lots at the shore. The elephant made of wood stands six stories to the top of its Howdah. The legs serve as a spiral staircase. Lucy is registered in the National Park registry of historical landmarks. Atlantic City Aquarium

Cape May

If your team has some extra time, be sure to take the 50-minute ride down the Garden State Parkway to the lovely beachside town of Cape May. It’s the nation’s oldest seashore resort, after all. The city is designated the Cape May Historic District, a National Historic Landmark due to its concentration of Victorian buildings.
