So, we have put together some things to do and places to eat on the north half of the city that will keep you and your team close to the tournament’s activities.

Things to Do

Greensboro Science Center

The Greensboro Science Center, just seven miles from the Bryan Park Soccer Complex, is a zoo, aquarium, and science center all in one.

The Animal Discovery Zoological Park is home to meerkats, black howler monkeys, and Nile crocodiles; not to mention tigers. The Museum includes a dinosaur gallery and “touch labs” with live snakes and lizards. The Carolina SciQuarium features African penguins, fishing cats, mata matas, and moray eels. Don’t miss the otters, stingrays, and sharks, either.

As part of a 20-million-dollar makeover in 2011, the zoo opened Time Warner Cable’s Extreme Weather Gallery and the HealthQuest. A new aquarium expansion debuted in 2017.
