Carson City – Things to do with your Team

The name Carson City comes from the legendary Kit Carson. A mountain man, fur trapper, and frontiersman, Kit Carson explored the Nevada area and earned a reputation for it. Exalted by his fellow man, Carson became quite the local celebrity. Thanks to him, many western territories were opened up to European settlement. Besides Carson, the other vital event that helped put Carson City on the map was the Comstock Lode. Nestled in the surrounding area were large silver ore deposits ripe for the taking. Many people traveled from all over to get a piece of the action, and Carson City saw its population grow as more people settled there permanently. In present day, Carson City has many exciting attractions to visit and breathtaking scenic views that beg to be seen.
