The Aurora Ice Museum

Chena Hot Springs Resort in Fairbanks is home to one of the region’s most prominent attractions, the Aurora Ice Museum. This fun, frozen facility is the largest year-round ice environment in the world, created from over 1,000 tons of ice and snow that was all harvested at the resort. You and your team will be struck by the icy beauty of the museum’s various sculptures; all crafted by world champion ice carvers Steve and Heather Brice.

Built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the United States’ purchase of Alaska from Russia, Fairbanks’ Pioneer Park provides visitors with a fun and informative glimpse into Alaska’s past.
