Enter an epic, one-on-one jousting battle while maintaining your balance over a pit of foam. The winner’s bragging rights are the ultimate prize! Frankie’s Fun Park

Frankie’s Fun Park in Greenville has it all. What could possibly be better than racing your friends and family around a road course full of hairpin turns and ultra fast straightaways for ultimate bragging rights. Laser Tag – Lasers make everything cooler. Seriously, take anything and put lasers on it and watch it’s cool factor jump through the roof. Pick a team, vest up, and get your tag on. Don’t be too afraid of the dark room, fog, and lasers flying by your head. Fun House – at first glance you might think it’s a military training obstacle course. And you wouldn’t be far off, because it has defeated most of the parents who have entered with their children.

Multiple levels of obstacles and slides will keep the little ones busy for hours. Batting Cages – they can say that with confidence because you’ll be surrounded by ’em. Fences, that is. Mostly for the safety of others as you swing wildly like a rabid banshee at speeding fast balls that will test the reaction time of even the pros. Just don’t take your eye off the ball. Mini-Golf – either way, it’s full-sized fun for the whole family! You look up and suddenly you’ve been transported to an exotic landscape of gorgeous waterfalls and lush vegetation. You wonder… “Is this some remote island getaway? Am I in some dream vacation destination?” Why no, it’s even better… It’s mini golf! That’s right! Greenville-Spartanburg - Things to do with your Team - Travel - Hotels4TeamsIf you have the time, travel the 22 miles up I-85 from Spartanburg (50 miles from Greenville) to the home of two famous landmarks. The first is the Peachoid Water Tower (locally known as “The Peach”). It is a well-known site in the south that is so authentic looking; it has a huge peach leaf, 60 feet long, 16 feet wide, and weighing 7 tons on one side of it. Of more historical importance is the National Battlefield of South Carolina. This battlefield showcases the Battle of Cowpens, which took place in the latter part of the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution. It became known as the turning point of the war in the South, part of a chain of events leading to Patriot victory at Yorktown. The Cowpens victory was won over a crack British regular army and brought together strong armies and leaders who made their mark on history. Peachoid Water Tower – Between Exits 90 & 92 on I-85, Gaffney, SC 29341; Cowpens National Battlefield – 338 New Pleasant Road, Gaffney, SC 29341

Built in 1896 for Southern Railway, it served passengers until the 1950s and handled freight until 1967, when it was closed. Opened as the Cowpens Museum and Civic Center in 1985, it was placed on the National Greenville/Spartanburg register of Historic Places in 1997.
