Golfland-Sunsplash

Drive approximately 10 miles northeast of McClellan and Jackson Sports Academy to reach the city of Roseville, and you’ll find a unique entertainment complex. Golfland-Sunsplash is named for its miniature golf courses and its outdoor water park. Mini golf is themed fun for the whole family, and you can choose between two separate 18-hole courses. The Sunsplash water park, which is only open during the summer, features more than a dozen attractions, including water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and more. Folsom Lake State Recreation Area

Situated at the bottom of the Sierra Foothills, the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, located 15 miles east of Jackson Sports Academy in Folsom, offers opportunities to enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, biking, running, camping, picnicking, horseback riding, water-skiing, and boating. Visitors to the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area can also stop by the Folsom Powerhouse, which produced electricity for Sacramento residents from 1885 to 1952.
