Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory
The city’s most famous export, the Louisville Slugger, is made only a few blocks from the Kentucky International Convention Center. Visit the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory for an inside look into how these legendary bats are made. As you walk up to the building, you’ll see a giant Louisville Slugger resting along the building. For that reason, the museum is fairly hard to miss. Once you enter the factory the tour begins. Witness steps in the process as workers carve the bats out of wood and burn the logo onto the bat. You are going to be in awe at the level of productivity at the factory.
Accompanying the sights of the factory is the sweet smell of the high quality wood from which the bats are made of. After you tour the factory, you can spend some time in the museum. Louisville Slugger Field

Gain some insight about the importance of the atmosphere and the oceans in the “World Around Us” section. The interconnections of life will be revealed in this portion of the science center.
In the “World Within Us,” the focus shrinks to examining the human body. Muhammad Ali Center
The famous boxer Muhammad Ali was born in Louisville. What better way is there to honor his hugely successful life and career than building a museum devoted to him? The Muhammad Ali Center will interest boxing fans as well as people who don’t follow the sport. The museum kicks things off with a short film on Ali’s life and his career. This will catch all visitors up to speed on the legendary heavyweight boxing champion.
As you walk through the center, displays on how Ali trained, clips of his fights, and memorabilia are just a few of the things you will encounter at the center. Muhammad Ali’s influence on black Americans during the Civil Rights era is another subject the museum touches on. Louisville Waterfront Park
Looking to get some fresh air and maybe take a break from a hectic trip without having to go very far from the Kentucky International Convention Center? Stop by Louisville Waterfront Park for a little relaxation. One of the park’s key features is Big Four Bridge. This decommissioned railroad track is now part of a popular walking path and offers a beautiful view of the Ohio River.
At night, the bridge is sometimes lit up by various multicolored LED lights. A water feature with water jets and fountains can also be found in the park. Bring your bathing suit or run around in your clothing and have some fun while you get soaked. Belle of Louisville, an old steam boat which is now a national historic landmark, resides in Louisville Waterfront Park as well.
