Knoxville – Things to do with your Team

At one time, Knoxville was Tennessee’s capital.  Due to its geographic location, it was isolated a bit until the railroads came through in the 1850s and the city went through an economic boom.

That boom continued through to present day, and now Knoxville is a bustling city filled with fun, engaging activities for your team.  With so much to do, your team won’t get a chance to be bored.

Zoo Knoxville

A well-known zoo home to many different animals, Zoo Knoxville is guaranteed to be a hit with your team.

From African elephants and lions to Komodo dragons, Zoo Knoxville will keep the team enthralled and eager to check out all of the animals.  Some other animals the zoo has are red pandas, southern white rhinos, Malayan tigers, giraffes, and baboons.

The zoo is split up between 12 different habitats, some of which are Gorilla Valley, Grasslands Africa, and Chimp Ridge.  The animals are grouped in their appropriate habitats and make it easy to navigate the zoo.

If you’re there at night, Zoo Knoxville has a night safari where zoo keepers guide you around the zoo and educate you about the animals.

Attached to the zoo is The Clayton Safari Splash, a 5,000 square-foot safari themed water park.  Located next to the Grasslands Africa habitat, The Clayton Safari Splash offers a lot of great ways to cool off after exploring the zoo, and the best part is it’s free with general zoo admission.  Make sure to bring your bathing suit when you visit. 3500 Knoxville Zoo Dr, Knoxville, TN 37914
