Las Vegas – Shopping Guide

It’s no secret that Las Vegas is a sought-after shopping destination, as some of the largest designer brands in the world have locations there. Millions of dollars are spent each year shopping in Las Vegas and the surrounding area, making it one of the most popular activities in the city.

Those looking for the best shopping destinations, including designer brands and big-name stores, should follow this guide to the top shops in Las Vegas.

Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian

Las VegasThe Venetian in Las Vegas is best known for its indoor canals flowing through a lobby reminiscent of Venice, Italy. You can’t help but admire the amazing feat of transforming the inside of a casino-hotel into a beautiful day in Italy.

Upscale stores surround the canals in the form of the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian. This area boasts a wide selection of designer goods, including Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Burberry, Jimmy Choo, and more. The stores span 800,000 square feet, and you can get a look at your options while floating down the canals in a gondola.

The Forum Shops at Caesars

Las Vegas

Connected to Caesars Palace is The Forum Shops, an indoor mall that features more than 670,000 square feet of shopping space. Not only are there impressive stores in The Forum, but amazing architecture as well, which is what really makes The Forum Shops stand out. The theme and decor of Caesars Palace carry through perfectly into the shopping center.

In the heart of the shopping center is a large mosaic fountain. Behind it is a grand stone staircase that winds up to the second floor, with enormous marble statues standing above. Marble columns reach all the way up to the high ceilings, which are painted with beautiful depictions of ancient Greek art. The Forum Shops are a regal and palatial place, making you feel like royalty while on your shopping spree.

Fashion Show

Just off the Las Vegas Strip is Fashion Show, a one-of-a-kind mall that offers more than great shopping. In the center of the mall’s atrium is an 80-foot retractable runway that regularly hosts fashion shows. This is, of course, how the mall got its name.

But the runway at Fashion Show isn’t the only draw. There are more than 250 stores at this mall, many of them upscale and filled with designer brands. This combination of fantastic stores and fashion-forward entertainment makes Fashion Show a must-visit. In addition to the 250 stores, Fashion Show features 25 eateries and eight department stores.

Grand Bazaar Shops

Grand Bazaar Shops is conveniently located in the middle of the Strip at what’s been called “one of the busiest intersections in the world.” There’s more than just clothing brands and designer stores at the Grand Bazaar, however. There you can find souvenir shops, a magic shop, pet accessories, a tiki bar, and candy shops.

Grand Bazaar Shops is an outdoor mall, but the area is covered in colorful canopies that light up at night. This creates a bright, neon-tinted spectacle for shoppers to enjoy. But colorful canopies aren’t the only things that light up at Grand Bazaar. The Swarovski store illuminates the night with its dazzling, 4,000-pound crystal chandelier.

The Shops at Crystals

The Shops at Crystals are as much an architectural feat as they are a shopping destination. The building really looks like a crystal with its sharp edges and protruding rectangular structures pointing in different directions. At night, The Shops at Crystals building is lit up in various colors, adding to the vibrancy of the Las Vegas Strip.

Designer names are plastered all over the outside of the building, drawing shoppers in to visit the 15 luxury stores inside. This may not be as much as the other shopping centers, but The Shops at Crystals take a different approach. Every designer store is oversized and expansive, larger than any of their other locations. The Louis Vuitton store, for example, is 14,000 square feet. Other brand names at The Shops at Crystals include Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Prada, and Fendi. It’s convenient to visit this shopping center, as multiple casinos have a free tram that brings guests directly to the building. Shopaholics will revel in what’s been called “the Rodeo Drive of Las Vegas.”

Las Vegas North and South Premium Outlets

Those interested in a more affordable shopping experience can head over to Las Vegas North or South Premium Outlets. There you can find deeply discounted items of the same brand names present on the Strip.

The outlets are somewhat off the Strip to ensure a calmer and less flashy shopping experience. Las Vegas North Premium Outlets is located near Fremont Street, while South is on Las Vegas Boulevard near the Mandalay Casino. They both have an impressive selection of stores, such as Tory Burch, Neiman Marcus, Michael Kors, and Vera Bradley. The outlets are the perfect place to shop if you’re interested in name brands without the huge price tags.

Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood

Las VegasMiracle Mile Shops is another shopping destination that, as the name suggests, spans almost a mile with seemingly endless options. Similarly to The Shops at Crystals, the Miracle Mile Shops draw people in with their interesting designs, colorful LED signage, and outdoor sound system.

But the impressive features don’t stop there. Once shoppers venture inside, they’re greeted by an enormous, multimillion-dollar fountain. This water feature is the site of dazzling water shows that include colorful light effects, rippling fog, and exciting music. It’s yet another state-of-the-art Las Vegas show.

Tivoli Village

If you’re exhausted by the glitz, glamour, and unrelenting noise of the Strip, you may want to venture over to Tivoli Village. 12 miles from downtown, this shopping center is more than just a mall. It’s a community gathering place that includes a farmers market, spa, gym, dog grooming spot, and various boutiques.

There’s both retail and office space, making it a dynamic place to explore when you need a break from the Las Vegas Strip. The Italian-style architecture at Tivoli Village is as beautiful as The Venetian and is only 15 minutes away. This communal area is the ideal place to spend a shopping day!
