Lowell – Things to do with your Team

Lowell played a big part in the industrialization of the United States.  Lowell’s large number of textile mills and factories ushered in change throughout the region.  At one time, Lowell had the largest industrial complex in the entire nation and became a powerhouse for the textile industry.

In modern times, Lowell is proud of its influential past, evident from the many museums and historic sites that are maintained all over the city.  Make an attempt to visit at least one historic site while you’re in Lowell, its history is quite fascinating.  Besides historic attractions, Lowell provides many other exciting things to do with your team.

Merrimack Valley Pavilion

If you had to choose between mini golf and laser tag would you be able to?  Fortunately you don’t have to answer that question when you stop by Merrimack Valley Pavilion.

Lowell’s place in history is both interesting and was important to the growth of the United States.  As such, Lowell National Historical Park is a must-see while you’re there.

Take a step back in time and witness the development of Lowell during the Industrial Revolution.  Learn about immigrants who traveled to America in hopes of a better future and their experiences working in Lowell.  Walk through rooms of old knitting machines and a restored mill filled with other pieces of Lowell’s past.  Take tours of the park by walking or riding on a trolley car, which so happens to be mini museums itself.  Go for a peaceful walk along the canal or through the park on one of their many trails.

If you’d rather see the canal from another perspective, take a ride on a boat through the canal and enjoy a guided tour while you take in the park’s beauty.  67 Kirk St, Lowell, MA 01852

The level of talent on the Spinners will shock you.  Some of their players either have played in the major leagues or are skilled enough to get there.  You might get the opportunity to watch future MLB stars.  Grab a hot dog and appreciate a good game.

Dive into their foam pit or climb the adjacent rock wall.  If you slip and fall, it’s okay.  You’ll have a soft landing into the foam pit.  Find out who the strongest is among the team on the battle beam.  Armed with a lance of sorts, fight your opponent on the balance beam and knock them off into the foam pit.  Last one standing wins!  700 Boston Rd, Billerica, MA 01821
