Macon – Things to do with your Team

People have been living in the Macon area for centuries.  13,000 years ago, the area was home to various indigenous tribes.  Fast forward all the way to the 18th century when the Creek Indians called the region home.  Evidence of this tribe still remains in Macon today in the form of the Ocmulgee burial mound.  Moving ahead in time even more, the Europeans began settling the area, and Macon really started to grow.  Its location near the Ocmulgee River was extremely beneficial in terms of trade.  In present day, the historic town of Macon continues to be a center of activity.  You and your team will have a blast while you visit.
