Three Rivers Heritage Trail

The Three Rivers Heritage Trail is a fun urban trail system that hugs the rivers and provides access to the Pittsburgh’s various districts. Point State Park

Point State Park is a 36-acre downtown park that features various attractions within its picturesque grounds. First, the park encompasses lovely portions of riverbank where many park visitors enjoy launching their kayaks.

In addition, the park is home to the remains of 18th century forts: Fort Pitt and Fort Duquesne. The area of the park was the site of a major French and Indian War Battle. Carnegie Science Center

Located in the Chateau neighborhood, Carnegie Science Center is one of Pittsburgh’s most family-friendly tourist attractions and is the most-visited museum in the city. The roboworld exhibit, in particular, with its Terminator technology and assortment of other robots, is very popular with teens and tweens, not to mention adults. Bicycle Heaven

Dubbed by The New York Times as the “largest bicycle museum and shop in the world,” Bicycle Heaven is a fun place to visit with kids, owing to its amazing collections of antique and rare bikes from all over. Moreover, the venue collects bicycles, bike relics, and bike memorabilia from famous stars like Elvis Presley and The Beatles. The museum is a not-for-profit venue and admission is free. It merely asks for donations that help support its collections.
