Cherry Grove Farm

Cherry Grove Farm puts the Garden in The Garden State! This farm is 480 acres of woodland, wetland, and pasture in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, near Village Park. It has been in the Hamill family since 1902 and their farm is still managed in cooperation with mother nature today. They are known for their award winning farmstead cheeses that are made in small batches and aged on the farm. In addition, organic gardening and the raising of pigs, lambs, chickens and beef cattle are done with care. Their stated mission is “to educate and engage with our community”.

Guests are encouraged to visit and enjoy the setting and participate in tours and classes. Tours for all ages – Elementary to University – are available. One hour Pasture Walks from April to October are guided by those who work on the farm and can tell you about everything from cheese making to ghosts!
