The Great Lakes Science Center is a super cool, interactive space where you can play with electricity and tornadoes and experience life aboard the International Space Station. Get up close and personal with the gigantic, 150-foot turbine on the front lawn, which provides about seven percent of the center’s annual electricity.

When you’re done exploring, head across the street to the iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, filled to the brim with memorabilia, art, and music from the birth of rock to the present day.

A roaring, 25-foot waterfall and ancient temple ruins welcome you to the two-acre, enclosed Rain Forest exhibit that houses exotic species like marmosets and golden lion tamarins. Over at Wolf Wilderness, you’ll learn all about the fascinating lives of wolves in the wild and see Mexican wolves up close. Keep an eye out for the resident bald eagle, and be sure to watch the beavers at work from the underwater viewing station. The new elephant exhibit gives you front-row seats to the goings on of these huge animals, and you won’t want to miss the impressive shark exhibit.
