Tap shoes clicking against wood floors, ballerinas spinning on one foot nailing their pirouettes, costumes tailored and ready to be worn, muscles stretched and relaxed…next stop, Adrenaline Dance Convention! Starting as soon as November, this national dance convention kicks off their tour, bringing their “A-Team” group of instructors. This group is ready to help aspiring dancers rise to the top with 2-3 full day workshops and scholarship awards! As a convention designed to “accelerate the growth of dancers through movement education, with a focus on personal attention and excellent customer service,” Adrenaline Dance is the place to develop one-on-one relationships with professional dancers who think it should be all about you!
Cross country tour, coming to a city near you
The convention begins in Las Vegas, and lasts eight months (ending in May in Indianapolis, IN). Adrenaline Dance stops in 22 U.S. cities along the way, providing ample opportunities for studios to compete. The convention locations boast beautiful landscapes and prime construction. See what each one looks like and what surrounds it with Convention Center guides, like this one for CenturyLink Center in Omaha, NE. Get your adrenaline pumping with full day workshops
Tired of dancing in the same studio with the same people and the same teacher week after week? You are in luck because Adrenaline Dance is offering 2-3 FULL DAY workshops, with classes available for all the major dance styles, including but not limited to Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Hip Hop. Workshops are taught in a supportive environment, by the “A-Team” staff. During class, the staff identifies areas of improvement and instills confidence by pushing students to explore new limits. Please be aware the workshop schedule varies from city to city and is subject to change. However, a final schedule is posted a day before the event. Also, due to the strong belief in the value of education and promoting individual growth, people who register for one day workshops will NOT be eligible for the scholarships and cannot compete.
Don’t be coy if you want a scholarship
To ensure growth continues after the convention weekend, Adrenaline Dance offers scholarships to Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior dancers (ages 8-19) registered for the full 2-day workshop. As of January 1, 2018, dancers audition for scholarships according to age. If a dancer moves up to a higher level for classes, they are required to audition with people in the same level. During the scholarship selection process, the faculty considers not only talent, but level of participation, enthusiasm, and interaction with other dancers, so leave any shyness at the door!

Get your dancin’ shoes ready for the “A-Team”
There are over 10 “A-Team” faculty members, ready to travel the country and inspire dancers of all ages and experience levels. On the roster is one of the industry’s hottest dancers, Nick Bass. Bass is known for his high energy and motivational classes that push each dancer harder and farther. Bass worked with celebrities like Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Madonna, Chris Brown and performed in major televised events like the Grammy’s and Superbowl halftime show.
Another noteworthy Adrenaline Dance “A-Team” member is tap sensation Sarah Reich. At the young age of 15, Reich was featured in Dance Spirit Magazine’s article 20 Hot Tappers Under 20 and was named one of the “25 to Watch” in the 2009 issue of Dance Magazine. Since then, Reich dances, choreographs and teaches in over 35 countries and is ready to share these cultural influences with other aspiring dancers.
If being a commercial dancer (dancing for TV, film and live stage shows) is more appealing than theatre, take as many classes as possible from Pam Chu. Beginning dance at the age of 3, Pam pushed through audition after audition until she became a performer for Cirque Du Soleil, then moved on to become a Radio City Rockette in 2008. Since then, she danced in the award winning film “La-La Land”, and is currently a back-up dancer in Brittney Spears’s “Piece of Me” in Los Vegas.
Utilize the discounts to lower entry fees
Fees for Adrenaline Dance events vary based on the number of days a studio attends, the age of the dancers, and whether the 30 day early registration is complete. Students attending more than one city can utilize the Multiple City discount. The discount is applied towards workshop tuition fees in the additional cities. Also, to all you teachers out there, bring your entire studio to the convention because teacher discounts are provided based on the number of students brought to the convention. If you bring 60 plus full paying students, not only will you get 2 free nights in the hosting hotel, but 4 teachers can come free of charge! With this saved money, take advantage of free time to explore the city. Avoid time researching things to do by using city guides like this one for Charleston, SC.
Get one step ahead of your competition with pre- convention services
For assistance with training and preparation for upcoming conventions, check out Adrenaline Dance Remix. There are two program options catering to the individual needs and interests of studios and dancers. The options include the In-Studio workshop and Choreography. The in-studio option is great for studios that want to practice and increase skill levels in the comfort of their own space. Visits from instructors can be single or multiple days, with 4-5 hours of daily practice per level. If there is a specific routine for an upcoming recital or convention that needs a professional touch, the choreography option is best. Adrenaline Dance Remix is totally customizable to an array of needs and levels, offering over 45 instructors ready to teach.
