A portion of Downtown Indianapolis is fairly walkable, in part thanks to the skywalk system attached to the Indiana Convention Center. However, Indianapolis is still a pretty big place to explore. You may want to use public transportation to explore those areas that may seem a little farther out of reach by foot.
