Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center

Located on a bend of the Chattahoochee River just across the street from the National Infantry Museum & Soldier Center is Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center.

This hands-on educational facility opened in 1995 as a collaborative effort between Columbus State University, Columbus Water Works, and the City of Columbus.

It features exhibits, displays, and nature trails, in addition to formal and informal programs about the ecology and natural history of the region. You and your team will get the chance to observe wildlife at every turn, from the feeding stations, to the nature trails, and more. For an even more up close look at bobcats, otters, beavers, herons, and more, make sure to borrow a pair of binoculars from the facility.

Hollywood Connection Family Fun Center

Hollywood Connection Family Fun Center is the area’s number one destination for a good time with family and friends.

Your team will have a blast as they speed around on roller skates in the Xanadu Skate Center; go for a hole in one on their multi-themed 18-hole mini golf course; and jump, dodge, and shoot at the Lazer Runner laser tag arena.

Once they’ve had as much fun as they can possibly handle, you can all travel back to a simpler time to enjoy old-fashioned diner classics in Hollywood Connection’s ‘50s style restaurant. Flat Rock Park

The park features a walking trail for everyone to go on a stroll and stretch their legs; a playground that’s perfect for if you’re visiting Columbus with younger children; and covered eating areas and grills so you can all enjoy a picnic lunch together.

As the name of the park suggests, there’s also an impressive rock formation in the heart of the park that the adventurous members of your team have a great time exploring.

Coca-Cola Space Science Center
