Boston Convention and Exhibition Center – Dining

Good food isn’t hard to come by at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts. That’s because Levy Restaurants, the convention center’s award-winning culinary compatriot, has gone to great lengths to accommodate everyone’s tastes, which is fitting seeing that the convention center welcomes approximately one million visitors each year.

They’ve got it all at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, from traditional New England fare like decadent lobster rolls and beer-battered fish and chips to brick oven pizza and build-your-own burritos. Gluten-free, nut-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are also available. Even the types of restaurants are varied, ranging from quick-service snack stands to a pub serving up pints of perfectly poured local draft beer. A convention center probably isn’t the kind of place you’d expect to find good food, but after a visit the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, you might be left thinking otherwise.

Wicked Good Market

For New Englanders, calling something “wicked” is practically a seal of approval. So, with a name like the Wicked Good Market, you can be sure you’re in store for a delicious meal. This cafeteria-style eatery serves up food that’s hot, hearty, and guaranteed to hit the spot after a long morning on the exhibit hall floor.

Boston Convention and Exhibition CenterThe market is made up of a number of quick-service stations with bite-size names like Mex, Bowls, Sauce, Heat, Wok, and Hub. Each one offers something different, but equally as delicious. If you’re in the mood for a lunch that’s on the lighter side, dive into a fresh, crisp salad or customize an Asian bowl with savory ingredients like chicken and veggies. Brick oven pizza and heaping bowls of pasta are also on the menu at the Wicked Good Market, so attendees can enjoy a taste of Boston’s North End, the city’s own Little Italy, without having to take a cab ride there.

Samuel Adams Pub

Located within the Wicked Good Market is Samuel Adams Pub, a homey watering hole where attendees can pull up a chair to eat and drink like the locals do. The menu features plenty of seafood, which is fitting seeing that the convention center is just blocks from beautiful Boston Harbor.

Oceanic offerings at Samuel Adams Pub include sweet, buttery lobster rolls, fish and chips, and New England clam chowder that’s the perfect complement to a blustery Boston day. They even serve raw oysters for diners looking to savor a true taste of the briny sea. Burgers and sandwiches mean those who prefer turf over surf aren’t out of luck either. Whatever you order, just be sure to wash it down with a tall pint of ice-cold beer. They don’t call it Samuel Adams Pub for nothing, after all.

Outtakes Quick Cuisine

Of course, no convention center is complete without a convenient place to grab a coffee and on-the-go breakfast item before the day begins. Outtakes Quick Cuisine fits the bill perfectly, providing attendees with everything from freshly brewed coffee and pastries to packaged sandwiches and assorted snacks.

Outtakes has even got sundries and souvenirs if you’re looking for something special to commemorate your trip. That way you don’t have to miss one minute of your event to go souvenir shopping somewhere else. There are multiple Outtakes locations throughout the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, including one in the North Lobby.
