Capital One Arena – Dining

Over the past two decades, Capital One Arena has expanded and perfected its dining options to satisfy all its guests. Concessions are available on all four floors of the venue, and include classic options like soft pretzels, hot dogs, chicken tenders and ice cream. Alongside those usual items, Capital One Arena also features high-end culinary offerings.

 

Barbecue

Capitol One ArenaFans of barbecue will enjoy Rockland’s BBQ in section 104. Rockland’s BBQ has been serving hungry patrons in the greater D.C. area since 1990. Founder John Snedden started barbecuing in the 1970s, and has perfected his craft after decades of experience. The dishes served at Rockland’s are cooked over a wood-fired barbecue.

Hungry patrons can also visit the BBQ Pit in section 229, the Butcher Shop in section 214, and Burgers & Brews in section 216. Gluten-free burger buns are available wherever burgers are sold in Capital One Arena.

 

Meat-Free

If you’re looking for meat-free dishes, head over to Street Tacos in section 107, or Box Frites in section 119. This popular stand that serves up specialty fries, some of which are meat-free. Also, DC Selects in section 110 serves up fan-favorites like onion rings and fried pickles.

 

Fuku and Launch Test Kitchen

Those in search of critically acclaimed food can find some on the 100-level concourse. The world-famous restaurant chain Fuku has a home section 117. Their signature sandwich contains crispy fried chicken cooked with habanero and placed on a potato roll with butter and pickles.

More chef-crafted food is available at the Launch Test Kitchen in section 105. This eatery features a rotating menu of dishes by professional and celebrity chefs. One of the staple dishes at Launch Test Kitchen is a specialty burger made by famous Chef Alex McCoy.

 

Drinks

Capital One ArenaOut-of-this-world meals aren’t the only unique part of Capital One Arena’s concessions. In section 417, patrons have the option to pour their own beer. After buying a cup at the concession stand, customers scan their QR code at the nearest tap and choose from a long list of beer. This pioneering concept is one of the first of its kind in the country.

Those who prefer a more typical type of beer service can visit one of dozens of bars in the Capital One Arena. DC Cocktail has locations in sections 119, 202, 204, 212, 227, 404, 407, 411, and 414. You can find the Absolut Bar in section 114, the Bud Light Bar in section 103, the Stella Artois Lounge in section 108, and the Jameson Bar in section 421. Believe it or not, these are only a few of the places for visitors to grab a refreshing drink at Capital One Arena.

 

Dessert

After enjoying a cold cocktail, you might have dessert on your mind. Grab Rita’s Italian Ice in sections 113, 108, or 429, or something unexpected at the Jane Dough stand in section 408.

Not only does Jane Dough serve edible cookie dough, but also some of the funkiest, booziest milkshake creations you’ve never tried before. One of their specialties is the Apple Pie Moonshine milkshake. This dessert cocktail is a blend of vanilla ice cream, apple pie moonshine, and streusel. Another creation combines the classic cereal Cinnamon Toast Crunch with ice cream, Fireball liquor, and RumChata.
