There are many on-site dining options available at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Some of these on-site eateries include Groundwork Coffee, Compass Cafe, and Big Man Bakes. Groundwork Coffee serves certified organic coffee; Compass Cafe is a convenient, quick-service restaurant; and Big Man Bakes makes various kinds of cupcakes.

Los Angeles Convention CenterThe original Groundwork Coffee opened over 30 years ago in Venice Beach. Over time, more Groundwork Coffee locations sprung up around the greater Los Angeles area. Groundwork Coffee’s mission is to source and share the very best organic coffee. Patrons often purchase an iced coffee or tea and a bite to eat for breakfast. Some of their breakfast items include a short rib burrito, avocado toast, and bagels.

Compass Cafe is another eatery located inside the Los Angeles Convention Center. They serve burgers, hot dogs, finger food, and more. Compass Cafe is a fast and easy option for when you’re on the go. However, do note that this cafe is not open every day and its hours are subject to change.

Big Man Bakes is another place you can stop by for a quick bite to eat; if you’re in the mood for cupcakes, that is. The story behind Big Man Bakes is almost as whimsical as their cupcake creations. Big Man, whose real name is William “Chip” Brown, was a doctor in training when he started selling his cakes to his co-workers. When he had the idea to leave the practice and sell his cakes full time, his story went viral. Now Chip’s cakes are sold all over Los Angeles, including at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
