Boombah Sports Complex at Seminole County – Bar Crawl

The Boombah Sports Complex at Seminole County is located in Sanford, Florida. Sanford is situated against the southern shore of Lake Monroe, but the sports complex is closer to the Orlando Sandford International Airport. Even though the Boombah Sports Complex is closer to the airport, it is only a short drive to reach the historic city of Sanford.

It’s a good thing that the Boombah Sports Complex at Seminole County is so close to the happening Downtown Sanford because you’re going to go on an awesome bar crawl right in the heart of it! Once you drive out there, all of the bars are within walking distance of one another, so you won’t have to worry about driving around all night. So, are you ready for a night filled with booze, food, music, and good company?

Bitters & Brass

To get to the first stop of the night, Bitters & Brass, you have to take a 15-minute drive from the Boombah Sports Complex into Downtown Sanford. This bartender-owned and -operated bar opened its doors in March of 2017 and has made big waves with their creative cocktail menu.

You’ll notice as you walk in that the architecture and decor are old-fashioned yet elegant, giving Bitters & Brass a speakeasy atmosphere. When you sit at the bar, you’ll be able to watch television while highly knowledgeable bartenders craft delicious drinks for you. Their cocktail menu is extensive and quite impressive. There are over 50 cocktails to choose from, and that’s not including seasonal drink selections! If you somehow still can’t find a drink you want, tell the bartenders the kind of flavors you enjoy and they will create a custom drink for you.

Buster’s Bistro

Walk on over to Buster’s Bistro next. It is a few steps away from Bitters & Brass, which means it is still just under seven miles from the Boombah Sports Complex at Seminole County. This bar strives to be a fun and welcoming gathering spot for the community and visitors alike. Whether you’re looking to watch a sporting event on the television, find a new beer and food pairing, or play some arcade games, Buster’s has you covered.

Buster’s Bistro is also where we recommend grabbing food if you haven’t had dinner yet. You can find typical bar fare and traditional Belgian cuisine there. A popular entree is the Vol-Au-Vent, which is roasted chicken in a bechamel sauce with homemade meatballs and mushrooms served on a puff pastry. Shareable appetizers are great for groups, such as poutin, a bistro board of cured meats and artisanal cheeses, or hand-peeled fries that are double fried to create the perfect crispy outside. No matter what you decide to order, make sure to pair it with a delicious Belgian beer.

Luisa’s Cellar

The next bar on your list is Luisa’s Cellar. Husband and wife, Sascha and Yellymary own Luisa’s Cellar. They wanted to give Central Florida a destination to enjoy multicultural wine and craft beer. This bar is located on the same street as Buster’s, so you are still relatively close to the Boombah Sports Complex at Seminole County.

Inside, Luisa’s Cellar is warm and inviting, with natural wood shelving and furniture, deep red accents, and brick walls. You can choose from a large list of wines or craft beers. We highly recommend coming to Luisa’s on a Friday or Saturday night if possible because you will be able to visit Wolfgang’s Dessert Room & Speakeasy. To enter this room, you must ask the bartender for the password. Being in this room will transport you to another era. Plus you can try decadent desserts. Menus for the desserts, wines, and beers are always changing with the season, so you can expect a new experience every time you stop by.

The Imperial at Washburn Imports

When you leave Luisa’s, your next stop, The Imperial at Washburn Imports, is a four-minute walk away. The Imperial has a lot of character. During the day, it operates as an antique and furniture store, and by night, the bar comes alive with its quirky decor.

Seating is a bit limited here, so hop on a seat when one opens up. Drinks include a selection of local craft beers and wines. If you’re looking to have a cocktail, you can expect handmade classics with a twist. Be sure to snag a picture of the uniquely decorated bar before you head out.

The Alley

Boombah Sports Complex at Seminole County

The Alley is your final stop of the night. It is a three-minute walk from The Imperial. The Alley is more than a bar. Since 2005, The Alley has been a premier venue for blues and rock music. Finish the night here with a cold beer and a live music performance.

The full liquor bar has a laid-back atmosphere. You can opt to order beer or cocktails while you listen and jam out. Every night there is a band taking the stage. They are typically local blues or rock bands.

Ending at The Alley means you are a 16-minute drive away from the Boombah Sports Complex at Seminole County. After a night filled with fun and drinking, take a taxi or use a ridesharing service to get back to your hotel.
