Outside the casino is a covered wagon nestled among a rock formation, giving guests a hint of what’s to come. Inside is The Wild West Casino, which mimics an old Western town. Storefronts that look like saloons and old general stores line the walls, and trees are planted throughout the casino floor.

You can probably figure out the theme for Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino just by its name. The lobby features an entire wall that looks like the Colosseum, and a ceiling painted like a clear, blue sky. There are white marble statues throughout, as well as a fun chariot photo op. Go on a trip to ancient Greece at Caesars, located just a 12-minute walk from the Atlantic City Convention Center.

Tropicana Atlantic City is a tropical escape just five minutes from the Atlantic City Convention Center. This casino resort is filled with palm trees, and the stores and restaurants look like downtown Havana. The ceiling is a bright sky blue, and a large fountain lit up in the center of the lobby. So if you’re visiting the Atlantic City Convention Center in the dead of winter, Tropicana is the place to be!

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City contains an endless amount of fantastic music memorabilia. You can see Elvis’s Rolls-Royce, a New York Fashion Week outfit worn by Beyoncé, a silk gown worn by Lady Gaga, and a pair of Elton John’s shoes. Beach and Boardwalk

One of the best parts about Atlantic City is the free beach access and the expansive boardwalk. The Atlantic City Convention Center is only a mile from the beach, convenient for any visitor who wants to soak up the sun. After a big event, guests can dig their toes into the sand and jump in the waves. From the beach, you can not only see the beautiful ocean, but the towering skyline with its sparkling buildings and bright casinos right behind you. Visitors have been enjoying the beaches of Atlantic City for more than a century, and it’s still a classic pastime for all who visit the city.

In addition to the beach, the Atlantic City Boardwalk is one of the biggest attractions in the city. The boardwalk, built in 1870, stretches for four miles. Tanger Outlets

It may be hard not to spend money at Tanger Outlets, but you can have an excellent time window shopping. This massive outdoor outlet mall opened in 2003 and remains the only outlet mall in Atlantic County.

The outlet mall features more than 100 stores, which represent a mix of casual and designer brands. Some of the major stores include Nike, Coach, Columbia, Lacoste, Bath & Body Works, and Gap. Enjoy a sunny day strolling around Tanger Outlets, located right across the street from the Atlantic City Convention Center.

 

Memorials

During your visit, you may want to escape from the hustle and bustle of Atlantic City for a bit. There are multiple memorials in the city where visitors can take a moment to relax and reflect.

The New Jersey Korean War Memorial is an impressive memorial located less than a mile from the Atlantic City Convention Center and steps from the beach. A slate of black marble is carved with the names of those who died in the war, and features a bronze sculpture of an eternal flame on top. On another wall is a sculpture of a group of soldiers carrying an injured comrade. Standing alone is a large statue of a soldier, looking solemnly at the dog tags in his hand.

In addition to the New Jersey Korean War Memorial, the Civil Rights Garden is another meaningful place to visit. The garden’s entrance is a beautiful black iron gate that leads to the peaceful grounds. Inside there are bright flowers, a brick walking path, and a cast iron bell. This intimate garden is the perfect place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of Atlantic City.

 

While there are plenty of people spending money in the casinos and clubs of Atlantic City, you don’t have to empty your savings to experience this city. Of course, there are plenty of opportunities to dine in award-winning restaurants, enjoy a drink on the beach, and play the slots. But in order to save money, you can supplement your tip with some free activities. The Atlantic City Convention Center is in the middle of the action, so you won’t have a problem enjoying a memorable weekend in this seafront city.
