Atlantic City Convention Center – Bar Crawl

Atlantic City is a popular party destination, as it’s filled with bars, pubs, casinos, and clubs. With that in mind, you may want to be a part of this city’s energetic nightlife.

Bar crawls are a great way to do that, and we’ve created one that follows a path right through Atlantic City. Given the Atlantic City Convention Center’s central location, it’s a great place to start. From sports bars to beach bars to dive bars, there’s something for everyone on this list. So get your group together and prepare for the ultimate Atlantic City bar crawl!

A Dam Good Sports Bar

Start off at A Dam Good Sports Bar, located on the third floor of the Tropicana. You can get from the Atlantic City Convention Center to the Tropicana by taking a 20-minute walk, or catching a five-minute ride from an Uber or Lyft.

If there’s a big game on, you can be sure that A Dam Good Sports Bar is going to be filled with fans. The bar is prepared with 26 televisions, a 12-foot screen, and every sports streaming package available.

In addition to sports games, A Dam Good Sports Bar has live DJs every Friday and Saturday night. Begin your bar crawl on the right foot by amping up the energy, grabbing a drink, and dancing under the rainbow lights.

Wet Willie’s

Your next stop, Wet Willie’s, isn’t far, as it’s located in the same building as A Dam Good Sports Bar. Thrillist named Wet Willie’s “one of the 12 most essential bars in Atlantic City,” which is why it’s essential that you visit.

Since 1990, this bar has been crafting the most popular and customizable daiquiris around. They have a wall of 20 daiquiri machines filled with every flavor you can think of. The daiquiris are made with high-quality liquor, which packs a punch. Mix your own flavor together or go with one of their signature cocktails.

Since this is only the second stop on your bar crawl, we recommend the Attitude Improvement. This Wet Willie’s original is an orange-flavored daiquiri made with 190-grade grain alcohol and Bacardi rum. The daiquiris at Wet Willie’s celebrate summer year-round.

Chelsea Beach Bar

A four-minute walk from Wet Willie’s is Chelsea Beach Bar. If you’re coming from the Atlantic City Convention Center, it’s a five-minute cab ride away. Chelsea Beach Bar is located right on the beach, so you can dig your toes in the sand while enjoying fruity cocktails or an ice-cold beer. They create a tropical atmosphere with upbeat island music and a relaxed vibe.

But every once in a while, Chelsea Beach Bar trades its easygoing, kick-back-and-relax environment for a true beach party. The bar features a raised stage where DJs regularly perform as the crowd dances in the sand. Either way, no Atlantic City bar crawl is complete without a drink on the beach. This is why Chelsea Beach Bar is a must-visit.

The Biergarten

Atlantic City Convention CenterA four-minute walk from The Chelsea Beach Bar, and a few blocks from the Atlantic City Convention Center, is The Biergarten. The Biergarten is a casual bar where guests can relax on an outdoor patio illuminated by string lights in the afternoon. The patio also features games like Jenga, Connect 4, and cornhole.

In addition to hanging out on the patio and playing games, The Biergarten is the perfect place along the bar crawl to grab some snacks. Order some truffle tater tots and chicken wings while enjoying one of their many beers. It’s a chill place to stop on your journey through Atlantic City and enjoy some live entertainment, which they have almost every day.

The Biergarten marks halfway through your bar crawl, so fuel up with some satisfying bar food and make your way over to the next stop.

Mountain Bar

Inside Bally’s is Mountain Bar, an energetic, Western-themed joint. It’s an 11-minute walk from The Biergarten AC and a 15-minute walk from the Atlantic City Convention Center. Mountain Bar stays true to its theme by creating the vibe of an old saloon, and including a huge rock formation behind the bar. There’s even a miniature, vintage locomotive that rides through this “mountain.”

Mountain Bar is packed on the weekends, partially because of its amazing drink specials. It’s always happy hour, and guests love the $2 shots, $2 draft beers, and $3 bottled beers. In addition to drinks, Mountain Bar has a photo booth, beer pong tournament table, and mechanical bull.

The VÜE

Your next stop is just a five-minute walk from Mountain Bar and a ten-minute walk from the Atlantic City Convention Center. The VÜE Rooftop Bar & Lounge is located on the 23rd floor of The Claridge Hotel. At this height, the bar offers an unbeatable, 360-view of Atlantic City and the ocean.

Atlantic City Convention Center

The VÜE has a much different atmosphere from the previous spot, as it’s much more contemporary. The bar features an indoor area as well as an impressive outdoor patio where guests can enjoy the incredible panorama. The VÜE is hip and trendy without being pretentious, and it attracts a younger crowd.

The drinks are fairly priced, and you can get a great cocktail as well as an appetizer or two. Their award-winning wings are highly recommended, and some fried zucchini sticks with tzatziki sauce will also hit the spot. Enjoy those snacks along with their “Lucky Juice” cocktail, made with lemon vodka, peace and pineapple juice, with blue curacao. End your bar crawl with one of the best views in the entire city at The VÜE!

If you’ve made it this far, congratulations! The ultimate Atlantic City bar crawl has brought you across town, without having to walk too much along the way. The party atmosphere of Atlantic City continues on throughout the night, so there’s an endless amount of other bar crawls you could concoct. But if you’re visiting the Atlantic City Convention Center, this one is tailored with you in mind!
