The newly built Albuquerque Baseball Complex is an immensely impressive facility with all the frills your team wants and needs. Boasting five LED lit fields with portable fencing so they can be converted to softball or little league dimensions, the complex will without a doubt stand out as one of the best facilities that your team plays at. ABQ BioPark Zoo

Situated alongside the iconic Rio Grande River is the astounding ABQ BioPark Zoo. Venture through all kinds of geographical settings and observe a long list of exotic animals that will captivate you with their beauty, ferocity, and playful antics. Stop by the Africa exhibit and go on your very own little safari. You’ll spot swinging chimpanzees, enormous hippos, towering giraffes, cackling hyenas, and more. Hinkle Family Fun Center

“Making memories that matter since 1994”, Hinkle Family Fun Center  is number one in kid friendly amusement near the Albuquerque Baseball Complex. That’s because its assortment of rides and games will captivate a variety of interests. Time travel to the future and experience a futuristic cyber quest atmosphere in Hinkle’s Ultimate Lazer Tag. Run around the 4,500 square foot as you get pumped up from the pulsating lighting effects and bumping music. Keep the adrenaline going and hop in one of the fun center’s speedy go-karts. Their track is a 1/8 mile and is designed to maximize excitement. Drive up hills, drift around curves, and race against your team to find out who’s the best driver. To drive, you must be at least 58 inches tall, weigh 45 or more pounds, and be three or older.

No fun center is complete without an arcade. Strive for the leaderboards and get some high scores in over 74 popular video and redemption games. Then, cash them in for awesome toys and gadgets at the Prize Counter. Hinkle Family Fun Center doesn’t stop at the arcade. The facility also has a virtual reality section where your team can become fully immersed into the game. There are five VR stations that everyone can take turns playing for 10 minutes a piece. New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science

Learn something new and examine all kinds of awesome exhibits at New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science. Go back to when life began on Earth in the Emergence gallery. This display takes on the task of attempting to find the answers behind how and why life on Earth began. One of the museum’s most popular exhibits, T. Rex Attack, is home to the second largest T. rex ever discovered. Arranged in an attack posture, Stan the Tyrannosaurus rex towers over museumgoers at 12 feet high and 40 feet long. Don’t pass up the chance to take some pictures of and with this monstrous dinosaur.

GravityPark

Defy the laws of physics at GravityPark. This trampoline park is leaps and bounds ahead of any other of its kind in the area and it’s close by the Albuquerque Baseball Complex. The best way to get acclimated to a high flying jumping session is to start at the Open Jump. Bounce around in the 9,000 square foot area of more than 60 connected trampolines. Not all of these are on the floor either. Unlock more possibilities thanks to the angled wall trampolines and launch decks.

Once you get comfortable ricocheting around, head over to GravityPark’s other activities. Put your strength and athleticism to the ultimate test and try to conquer the Ninja Obstacle Course. Experience a totally new kind of dodgeball in Extreme Dodgeball. This time the balls won’t be the only thing bouncing everywhere. Shoot some shots and dunk some basketballs in AirDunk. Holocaust & Intolerance Museum of New Mexico

A powerful and extensive attraction devoted to educating visitors on genocide, the key focus being the Holocaust, the Holocaust & Intolerance Museum of New Mexico displays incredibly informative exhibits that show snippets of the Holocaust and other genocides through photographs, artifacts, and artwork. Study pictures taken by Allied soldiers at Buchenwald while they were liberating the camp from the Nazis. Other authentic photos include survivors of Dachau and other camps and the horrific medical experiments performed on prisoners.

You can also examine the Nazi memorabilia collection at the museum, as well as appreciate the paintings and other artwork commemorating Holocaust survivors in the gallery. One of the most powerful pieces in the museum is the mesh sculpture recreating a typical sleeping area for children at the concentration camps. Witnessing the poor, cramped conditions these children had to endure will make you realize how awful their situation really was. A replica camp gate with the slogan, “arbeit macht frei,” meaning “work sets you free” can be found there as well.
