Corpus Christi is a beautiful city, brimming with things to do for your team.  Its nickname, “Sparkling City by the Sea” paints a serene picture in your head.  Take a second to stop and take in the beauty around you while visiting or better yet, bring a camera so you can cherish the memory for years to come.  This bustling city brings a lot to the table as far as activities are concerned.  Corpus Christi has a wide variety of things that everyone on your team will enjoy.

USS Lexington

Resting in Corpus Christi Bay, the USS Lexington was once a commissioned aircraft carrier.  Now it serves a different purpose, providing kids and adults with an awesome lesson in history.  The USS Lexington weighs 33,000 tons and has 16 decks!  That means they have a lot of room to utilize for interesting exhibits.

There are five large sections of the ship that offer a diversity of things to see.  Check out the flight deck to see the Lexington’s collection of 20 aircrafts, anti-air guns, and more!  Some other exhibits of note are the Pearl Harbor exhibit, engine room, 3D mega theater, and flight simulator.  Those are only a glimpse of what else the USS Lexington has on display.

For the gamers on your team, the ship has three virtual battle stations.  World of Warplanes and World of Warships put you in control of planes and warships and educate you on the various kinds of vessels, all while you defend your plane or ship from enemies.  Combat puts you in the shoes of a Navy officer who must defend the ship from attackers.  The USS Lexington is a great place to learn and have a lot of fun while you do it. 2914 N Shoreline Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78402
