Fargo has been an ever-growing city since the 1980s.  So much so that it has evolved into eastern North Dakota’s epicenter of culture and retail.  Fargo is also home to North Dakota State University.  Because of its constant growth over the decades, Fargo has a lot to offer your team when they’re playing a tournament there.

 

Red River Zoo

Fargo Air Museum

Home to aircrafts of all eras, the Fargo Air Museum has a one of a kind display of aircrafts that is sure to inspire awe and captivate interest.  The museum has aircrafts as current as a Global Hawk unmanned reconnaissance drone, which will wow those who have an interest in modern day aircraft technology.  Fargo Air Museum also has the “most accurate recreation of a Wright Brothers’ Flyer” according to the Smithsonian Institute.  They also are continually working on restorations of old planes to eventually add to their collection.  Fargo Air Museum does give tours for those who want to learn even more about these amazing aircrafts.  From a replica of the first aircraft in existence to modern day planes, Fargo Air Museum will provide your team with a unique display of aircrafts from past and present. 1609 19th Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102

 

Newman Outdoor Field

Feel like taking in a baseball game while you are in Fargo?  Head over to Newman Outdoor Field.  Home of the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks, Newman Outdoor Field is an enjoyable day or night out.  The Redhawks are not a minor league team, but instead part of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball (not affiliated with MLB).  This modern ballpark will keep your team entertained from the first pitch to the last, and all for a cheap price too.  Make sure you buy your tickets before game day for even cheaper prices.  Newman Outdoor Field also has firework shows after the games on certain nights. 1515 15th Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102

 

Thunder Road Family Fun Park

West Acres Shopping Center

Malls are always a relaxing way to spend some time and maybe go home with a souvenir or two.  If you and your team are in Fargo, visit West Acres Shopping Center for a pleasant day out.  West Acres has over 120 stores to shop at with plenty of food options to choose from.  An uncommon feature in malls, West Acres has a 1,000 gallon aquarium with 17 different varieties of fish.  Watch as the fish swim through the large spire sculpture in the aquarium and interact with each other.  West Acres also has a movie theater, West Acres Cinema that offers respite from shopping if needed. 3902 13th Ave S, Fargo, ND 58103
