Reach 11 Sports Complex in Phoenix is one of the largest soccer complexes in the western U.S. and is a top location for Arizona youth soccer. It has 18 soccer fields and regularly hosts soccer, field hockey, and rugby tournaments.

Reach 11 Sports ComplexThe Musical Instrument Museum, just four miles from the Reach 11 Sports Complex is one of the most popular attractions in the area. The museum displays more than 6,500 instruments from around the world. Some galleries have state of the art audio and video technology that allow museum-goers to hear recordings of the musical instruments so they can get a better understanding of what they sound like and how people play them.

Wet ‘n’ Wild

Only nine miles west of the Reach 11 Sports Complex is Wet ‘n’ Wild. Wet ‘n’ Wild is situated on over 35 acres, making it the largest theme park in Arizona.

It has over 30 water slides and major attractions. Maximum Velocity lets your kids race in tandem tubes through 800 feet of drops and curves. Wet ‘n’ Wild Jr. is a smaller water park designed for the little ones. The tots can play with water toys, splash through spray zones, and slide through attractions like the Tiny Typhoon. McDowell Sonoran Preserve

Arizona’s desert landscapes are world renowned. Spectacular desert sights are only a short drive away while you’re in Scottsdale. McDowell Sonoran Preserve allows you to witness Arizona’s desert up close, but without having to hike for miles and miles in the hot, arid environment.

McDowell has a lot of hiking trails to choose from. Many of them are on the easier side, making them very manageable for your team. Enjoy amazing scenes of cacti and other desert flora growing along the path and expanding out into the desert. If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of some wildlife like lizards or jackrabbits.

Bask in the glory of the desert’s beauty. Snap a few dozen pictures while you walk. Every few steps you will encounter a new photo opportunity. Before embarking on your desert journey, stop at the visitor’s center for pamphlets on the preserve. There’s a lot of valuable information that can help you. Glow Putt Mini Golf

Arizona is notoriously hot.  Scorching some might say. There will be times when the heat might feel unbearable and you will need a respite from it. Play a round or two of indoor mini golf at Glow Putt Mini Golf while you cool off.

As you can probably ascertain from the name, Glow Putt is a glow in the dark course. Covered in UV lights of all colors, Glow Golf’s jungle themed course is designed to test even the most experienced mini golfers. This isn’t your average course. OdySea in the Desert

In Scottsdale, 16 miles southeast from the Reach 11 Sports Complex OdySea in the Desert resides. This unique attraction includes three live animal attractions, as well as some shopping and dining options.

At Butterfly Wonderland, you can experience the Butterfly Emergence Gallery, where metamorphosis occurs in real time, and the Conservatory, a magnificent, lush rainforest pavilion where thousands of butterflies flutter around freely. Other interactive displays include the Honeybee Extravaganza, Spineless Giants, a stingray and shark observation pool with daily feedings in the Tropical Waters of the World exhibit, the Butterfly Treasures gift shop, and the café.

At OdySea Mirror Maze, the excitement comes in getting a little lost. Figure out how to navigate your way out of the jungle, but be weary of false passages and dead ends. Finding your way out isn’t the only task you have to worry about. You also need to locate the elusive butterfly, hidden somewhere deep in the maze.
