Toledo – Things to do with your Team

Geographically speaking, Toledo’s location was a huge benefit to its growth.  Because of the Erie Canal and the railway line running in between New York City and Chicago, Toledo became a popular stop.  Subsequently, the city has witnessed a lot of development.  Toledo’s glass industry has earned it the nickname, “The Glass City”.  While visiting Toledo with your team, you will have plenty of options for things to do.

Fifth Third Field

Take your team out to the ball game at Fifth Third Field.  You will get to watch the Toledo Mud Hens take the field and put on a display of entertaining minor league baseball.  The Mud Hens are a triple-A team affiliated with the Detroit Tigers.  The stadium is well kept and located in the heart of downtown Toledo, making it easy to get to.  You and your team have the option to either dine in the stadium itself or one of the many restaurants near it.  Fifth Third Field puts on firework shows on weekends in the summer after Mud Hens games.  Depending on the size of your group, you might qualify for group ticket prices.  Groups of 25 or more are eligible, but group ticket pricing is not valid on days of firework shows or other events. 406 Washington St, Toledo, OH 43604

Sportway of Toledo

Choose between go-karts, mini golf, or batting cages, or if you want, play all three.  A guaranteed hit with your team, Sportway of Toledo is the perfect place to have some fun and burn some of that leftover energy your team might have.  Sportway has two types of go-karts: individual and double.  Each type has different rules of operation attributed to them.  Individual karts, the most viable option for your team’s situation, only require that the driver be 54 inches tall.  If interested in the batting cages, simply buy tokens and Sportway will provide the bat, balls, and helmet.  Finally, try the 18 hole mini golf course.  This well-kept course utilizes hills, water, and other obstacles to attempt to throw you off your game. 5950 Angola Rd, Toledo, OH 43615
