Tulsa – Things to do with your Team

Tulsa is a city that is on its way up.  Tulsa was ranked number eight in the United States for cities of the future by fDi Magazine and is an exciting city to visit.  It was once known as the “Oil Capital of the World” due to its major involvement with the American oil industry.  Tulsa continues to grow and with growing comes more things to do.  Your team will have a blast when they are there since they will always be preoccupied with something fun. If your tournament happens to be at Mohawk Sports Complex or Hilti Park, make sure to check out our travel guides specifically for those venues.

Tulsa Zoo

Constructed on 85 acres of land, Tulsa Zoo is a popular attraction in the Tulsa area and considered one of the best, if not the best zoo in Oklahoma.  Tickets are very cheap, which means this is a go-to activity while in Tulsa.  The 12 exhibits available make Tulsa Zoo a place where you can spend a lot of time learning and having fun.  Some habitats of note that you should check out are African Plains, Life in the Water, Life in the Desert, and the Lost Kingdom.  Each habitat has a diverse mix of animals for your viewing pleasure.  African penguins, lions, giraffes, chimpanzees, and Asian elephants are some of the animals you can expect to see and learn about during your time at Tulsa Zoo.  For an added benefit, the zoo has a trolley that can transport you around.  The zoo has a café right next to the tiger exhibit so you can enjoy a meal while watching these majestic big cats. 6421 E 36th St N, Tulsa, OK 74115
