The Creature Conservancy

Devoted to animals, The Creature Conservancy’s mission is to promote connections between people and wildlife. The staff is dedicated to educating guests on the animals in hopes to create a greater appreciation for nature and wildlife. You can walk around by yourself and observe all of the animals you want. The best way to visit the zoo however, is to get a private tour. A staff member will show you around the zoo and even bring you to some areas that the general public doesn’t have access to. You can cuddle a kangaroo, pet a horse, and get way closer to many of the animals. You may even make a new friend while on the tour. Tours can be for a single person and can take up to six people. It’s no secret that Michigan gets pretty cold during the year. Decode Detroit

The name may say Detroit, but Decode Detroit is actually located in Ann Arbor near the University of Michigan. Decode Detroit is an escape room activity with two rooms available and one experience that takes you all around Ann Arbor. The two rooms to pick from are Part 1: The Minerva Project and Part 3: Minerva’s Return. Both of these have a one hour time limit and an original story. Each room will stump you with puzzles, clues, and hidden objects. It’s your choice whether you want to work with the Artificial Intelligence Minerva or not, as you attempt to escape.

Part 2: Minerva’s Escape changes things up a bit. Instead of being locked in a room, this story requires you to travel around Ann Arbor for a scavenger hunt. Follow Minerva around the city and keep an eye out for her clues, so you can earn her trust.
