Austin-Tindall Sports Complex is located 20 minutes outside the heart of Kissimmee, Florida, on Boggy Creek Road, nestled between East Lake Tohopekaliga and Fells Cove. At only 9.5 miles from the Orlando International Airport, the complex is home to eight World Cup standard, multi-purpose fields. Five of the fields are regulation size and the remaining three are practice fields, but the complex has plenty of room for expansion and growth in the coming years. Soccer is not the only sport that’s been hosted at the Austin-Tindall Sports Complex. Past events have included traditional sports such as flag football, field hockey, lacrosse, archery, and rugby as well as less conventional, modern sports like paintball and ultimate Frisbee. The fields are kept in pristine condition by a friendly, dedicated staff. The complex is protected by a six-foot fence and 24-hour security while not in use to ensure the fields are kept tidy and safe to provide the best quality playing surface for all athletes visiting the complex. Providing bleacher seating for 1,500 the ensures that each field has seating for families and friends to cheer on their athletes, but as the games can tend to draw crowds it’s suggested that spectators bring along lawn chairs to ensure everyone can enjoy rooting for their team in comfort. Austin-Tindall Sports Complex was built with athletes and family in mind. As such the complex provides a central clubhouse that offers covered picnic seating for athletes and families to enjoy a bite to eat from the concession stand, locker rooms with the ability to accommodate 50 men and women each, orderly public restrooms, separate locker rooms with showers for officials, and space for equipment storage.
