Expect cold temperatures, with daytime highs often near or below freezing, and nighttime lows dropping significantly. Snow is abundant, making this prime ski and snowshoeing season. Pack heavy, insulated layers, waterproof outer shells, hats, gloves, and warm, waterproof boots. Travel to the lodge requires careful attention to road conditions and potentially snow chains.

Spring & early summer
