During the Event

The Sea Ranch Golf Links presents a challenging and scenic 18 holes. Pace of play can vary, particularly on busy days, so be mindful of groups ahead and behind you. The course offers numerous opportunities to pause and appreciate the stunning ocean panoramas. Restrooms are located at convenient points around the course. If you’re playing during a tournament or a busy weekend, be prepared for a full experience. Consider bringing water and snacks, though beverages may be available at certain points or from a cart.

Winter

Expect cool to chilly temperatures, with daytime highs typically in the 50s°F and dropping into the 40s°F at night. Rain is frequent, and fierce coastal storms can occur, creating dramatic surf. Dress in multiple warm layers, including waterproof outer gear, sturdy shoes for wet conditions, and a hat. Outdoor activities are best planned between storm systems, and be prepared for shorter daylight hours.

Spring & early summer

The weather gradually warms, with daytime highs moving into the 60s°F, though evenings remain cool, often requiring a jacket. You’ll encounter a mix of sunny days and coastal fog, especially in the mornings. Packing layers is key, including a windbreaker or medium-weight jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and sun protection. Ocean breezes are common and can make it feel cooler than the temperature suggests.

Mid-summer

This period brings the warmest temperatures, typically in the 70s°F, but often moderated by persistent coastal fog, particularly in the mornings and evenings. Sunny afternoons can be very pleasant. Pack light layers, including shorts and t-shirts, but always have a warmer jacket or fleece for the cooler parts of the day and evenings.
