Swope’s Cars of Yesteryear Museum

Freeman Lake Park

Freeman Lake Park is the largest municipal park in Elizabethtown. It’s located only a few minutes from the Elizabethtown Sports Park and is centered around a 170-acre lake where you and your family can fish and boat to your heart’s content. Catch bluegills, rainbow trout, channel catfish, and largemouth bass. Bait is available for sale in the park office and fishing permits are available just for the day. Seven miles of walking trails surround the lake. The brand spanking new Tennis Complex has 10 courts, five of which are lighted. Try the 18-hole disc golf course. Conder’s Paintball

Also near the Elizabethtown Sports Park is Conder’s Paintball, the oldest and largest paintball field in the entire state of Kentucky. It is situated on 80 beautiful acres and offers you a number of different fields to have fun in. Their family-friendly atmosphere is aided by knowledgeable referees who help to keep things competitive, but friendly. Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site

To this day people and politicians still talk about Abraham Lincoln, our nation’s 16th President. Kart Kountry

Kart Kountry is a family-oriented amusement park in Shepherdsville that’s not very far from Elizabethtown Sports Park. It has go-karts, yes, but it also has bumper boats, batting cages, mini golf, and other fun things for your kids to do. It is home to the largest go-kart track in the world! Ride five different size karts at five different speeds with a separate Kiddie Track with Kiddie Karts. Small children riding as passengers in the double-seat kart ride for free.

The mini golf course has streams, waterfalls, and a massive volcano. The batting cages have six speeds for baseball and slow and fast pitch for softball. The Bumper Boats are equipped with squirt guns and Bump-N-Blast cannons.
