Whataburger Field

The double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, the Corpus Christi Hooks is a talented, entertaining minor league baseball team that you will surely enjoy watching. The team’s home ballpark, Whataburger Field, is located very close to the American Bank Center; it’s only a short walk away. Don’t worry about where your seats are, because there isn’t a bad seat in the whole stadium. The ballpark gets you in the game and makes you feel like you’re part of the action. Whataburger Field is an extremely clean stadium with friendly staff and a large quantity of concession options, including of course Whataburger.

You might even spot cargo ships and other boats sailing to and from Corpus Christi Bay while you’re sitting in your seat. The scenery is reason enough to stop by the Watergarden. If you need any more of a nudge, the park has a really cool water feature consisting of 150 fountains spewing water that cascade down a circular staircase into a large pool. The Corpus Christi Watergarden is near the American Bank Center in Bayfront Science Park and is a great way to end your day while you try to unwind and relax.
